Sculpted by Chris Hess, first mold release 1979. Stallion, cantering on right with right front leg raised all other hooves flat on the ground, flowing mane and tail gently curved neck. There seems to be a bit of a mold change at some point around 2002. It is different in that the face and upper neck of the mold are smoothed on the right side. Stamps- Round "BREYER MOLDING CO." Copyright, no U.S.A. and some early models have the "B".
Black, matte finish, glossy eyes with eye whites and dark gray hooves and putty gray chestnuts painted with paintbrush.. This one has an interesting layering paint job. They started with a metallic gold base and put the black on top. The gold shimmers through the black on the body but the face, mane, tail and legs are solid black. On his belly is a yellow paint stamp which reads "Flicka, TM & (copyright symble) 2006 FOX" Smooth face version. Produced from 2006 to 2007. Stamps- Round "BREYER MOLDING CO." Copyright {I have 1 in 5+ condition with cougar also in 5+ condition}

Buckskin dun "Spirit Kiger Mustang Family Set". I have 2 slightly different variations of this model. The first variation is like the old Andalusian Family Stallion mold in that it has all the sculpture texture marks. He has black mane, tail (tail is frosted in tan on the top third), ear tips,nostrils and groin, shaded inner ear and muzzle. The legs are shaded with dun points meaning that the backs of the cannons and most of the pasterns are tan and the points are dark and the hooves are tan/black. {This model is in 5+ condition} The other one is different in that the face and upper neck of the mold are smoothed on the right side. The mane, bottom third of the tail, lips, genitalia, entire butt crack and dun points are black. The ear tips and hocks are shaded dark. Hooves are tan/gray. {This one is in 4+ condition} Both models have the silver running Spirit paint on belly. These are a Special Run for Walmart in 2002, amount unknown.
