Sculped by Chris Hess, first mold reliese 1972. Gelding in Big Lick pose with mane ribbon, front weight shoes, tail set. Stamps- Round "BREYER MOLDING CO." Copyright, U.S.A and some early models have the "B".

#85 Diablo

Alabaster, gray main, tail and hooves, some of the older ones have the red eyes. Glossy. Produced from 1961 to 1966. Stamp-

Gray Appaloosa, bald face, white main, tail, 4 unmasked stockings, some have gray nostrils, pink muzzle and hooves. Black spaltter spots (size varies) sometimes reaching up to the withers. Glossy Produced from 1061 to 1966. Stamps-

#87 Diablo The Mustang

Buckskin, bald face pink muzzle, dark shaded nostrils, toffy body color, RF & LH leg shaded on back side, LF &RH shaded all around, mane, tail & hooves black. Newer models sometimes have solid or near solid faces. Produced from 1961 to 1986. Stamps- {Mine is in condition 3 with round and usa stamp}

Charcoal, dark brown/gray body, shaded grey nostrils, pink muzzle, 4 unmasked stockings with pink hooves. Glossy. Produced form 1961 to 1970. Stamps-

 

#118 American Mustang

Sorrel, body color varies from a deep rich chestnut with flaxen mane and tail to a bright chestnut with very light blond mane and tail. Dark grey shadning in nostrils, lighter gray to gray/brown face shading. Unmasked white on lower face to solid face, gray hooves and 4 stockings. Matte. Produced from 1987 to 1989. Stamps- {I have 1 dark and 1 light. The light one is condition 4+, the dark one is a 4-}

Bay, black mane, tail, legs and hooves, stencled face and large white patches on sides and belly, muzzle pink/tan, dark brown dorsel stripe. Stamp- Upside down round BREYER MOLDING CO. Copyright and U.S.A. {I have 1 5+ condition round and usa stamp}

Red chestnut tobiano pinto, shaded ears, face, pink muzzle, bald face, gray/tan hooves, matte. Ribbons are blue with white cross haching. Regular run from 1995 to 1996.

Dark Palomino (some say chestnut) shaded muzzle, snip, both hind legs have socks with tan hooves the front legs are solid with gray chestnut hooves. The ribbon is white with dark red cross haching. Special Run 1997 6,000 produced some were signed (1,500) the rest were not.

Red Roan, shaded face, eyes, muzzle and lightly shadded points, mane and tail. Blaze with both hind socks, left front pastern, right front cornet band, all hooves are gray. Matte. Produced in 1988, 1000 made for Model Horse Collector's Supply. If you have a newly aquired Ruby be very careful with him/her. The paint seems to be fragle. If you look closely at the first picture, there is a white spot on her neck. When I opened her to look at him/her my ring lightly grazed her neck. Stamp- Upside down round BREYER MOLDING CO.
